São Paulo is set to host a vibrant children’s carnival, featuring a total of 627 parades scheduled across the pre-carnival (February 7-8), main carnival days (February 14-17), and post-carnival (February 21-22) periods. The city promises a colorful celebration filled with music, costumes, and joy, perfect for young revelers.
The “Berço Elétrico” parade will take place at Av. Eng. Luiz Gomes Cardim Sangirardi in Vila Mariana on Sunday, February 15, at 10 a.m. Another exciting event, “Folia Retrô,” is set for the same day at 9 a.m. in Pça. Olavo Bilac, Sé. “Bloquinho Gente Miúda” will also entertain families on February 15 at Av. Prof. Alfonso Bovero, 522, Perdizes.
On Sunday, February 15, “Carnaval da Trupe Trupé” will delight attendees at Av. Paulista, 149 – Bela Vista, starting at 4 p.m. Meanwhile, the “Bloco Turminha do Bem” is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, at 4:30 p.m. on Av. Dr. Sylvio de Campos, 225, Perus. Earlier that day, “Festa de Cores” will commence at 1 p.m. at Av. Doutor Sylvio de Campos, 430, Perus.
On Tuesday, February 17, both “Bloco Mara” and “Bloco Afro da Vovó Zulma” will take place at 2 p.m. in São Miguel Paulista and Jardim Margarida, respectively. The following weekend, “Bloco Amiguinhos da Vila Mariana” will parade on February 21 at 9 a.m. on Rua Pelotas, 651, Vila Mariana. “Charanguinha do França” is set for 10 a.m. at Pça. Rotary, Vila Prudente, on the same day.
The festivities will conclude with “Bloco do Chocolatte” on February 22 at 4 p.m. in Pça. dos Trotadores, Vila Maria/Vila Guilherme. The city authorities have noted that the schedule and routes may be subject to change.
