Fauna asiática surpreende com peixe-perereca e esquilo-voador gigante

A unique fish species, known as the mudskipper, has captivated audiences as part of the “Asia” series aired by Fantástico. This small, five-centimeter fish inhabits the mangroves of Indonesia and possesses the remarkable ability to survive outside water, provided it remains moist. Unlike typical fish, mudskippers can leap across mudflats and even “walk” on water surfaces, a skill that contributes to their intriguing name.

The episode also introduced viewers to another fascinating creature, the giant flying squirrel of Taipei, Taiwan. By day, this animal resembles an ordinary squirrel, but at night, it showcases its extraordinary gliding ability, traveling up to 150 meters between trees and structures in search of food and shelter.
