A unique fish known as the mudskipper is featured in the fourth episode of the “Asia” series aired by Fantástico. This small, five-centimeter creature inhabits the mangroves of Indonesia and has an unusual ability to survive outside water, provided it stays moist. Unlike typical fish, the mudskipper can leap over mud to evade predators and “walk” on water surfaces, a trait that explains its peculiar name.

The episode also highlights another fascinating creature, the giant flying squirrel of Taipei, Taiwan. By day, it resembles an ordinary squirrel, but at night, it showcases its remarkable gliding ability, soaring between trees, rooftops, and poles for distances up to 150 meters in search of food and shelter.
