Recent drone attacks have intensified the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, targeting key industrial, port, and energy facilities. These strikes occurred between Friday night and Saturday morning, impacting regions in both countries.
In the southern region of Odessa, Russian forces targeted port infrastructure, damaging agricultural warehouses, storage facilities, and administrative buildings. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Additionally, a power distribution company confirmed that an energy facility in Chernihiv, northern Ukraine, was hit, leading to power outages affecting 380,000 customers.
In response, Ukrainian drones struck industrial targets in Syzran and Novokuibyshevsk, located in the Samara region of central Russia. Vyacheslav Fedorischev, the local governor, reported the attacks but did not specify which facilities were affected. These cities house oil refineries that have been targeted throughout the ongoing conflict.
